Part VI Conclusion
The second amendment right is the biggest key in the battle of gun control laws. The second amendment “The right to bare arms” means anyone that's a citizen of the United States can bare or own guns. I am a believer of this right but in some circumstances there needs to be some gun control laws placed for the people. “Very few of those who support gun control guys want an absolute, total ban on weapons”(Morris). The only guns that people should own are guns used for recreational uses. There is no need to own a semi or automatic assault weapon. For home security or protection a simple handgun or shotgun can be used to protect a person's self just as well or better than an assault weapon.
Not all guns should be taken away because we all saw what happened with prohibition. The same thing would happen with guns, and new gangsters like Al Capone will evolve. But if we never ban all guns but put tighter lock down laws in place America can save lives from gun deaths. The one and only problem with this theory of more laws is laws do not apply to criminals. They are criminals for a reason they break the law. If a criminal really wants a gun they will be able to find a person to buy one for them, or even they could go to the black market and buy illegally sold and bought firearms.
Only in a perfect world pro gun control and anti gun control arguments will align to form a perfect gun law to American rights ratio. No matter what the government does in this argument of gun control people will be angry, the trick is finding the perfect balance between the law and Americans rights to bare arms.
